Ears Inc. relies on donations of unwanted or no longer needed audiological equipment to establish clinics for hearing rehabilitation. Robust and sturdy equipment is required for it to remain in calibration during travel and to survive difficult climatic conditions.
Otoscopes, audiometers, test boxes, insertion gain machines, tympanometers and sound booths are always welcome!
Ongoing support is needed for equipment calibration. Currently this occurs every 2-3 years when an Ears Inc. team visits a destination for a training course. The team can carry over newly calibrated equipment and return with the old equipment. It is hoped that eventually, as an audiology profession grows in a particular country, that the local clinic/s will be able to find appropriate and affordable technical services.
If you have any equipment that you would like to donate to Ears Inc., please contact us and we will arrange for the pick up and storage of the equipment.
