EARS Inc. is all about people helping people; those with skills and gifting passing on their skills to others, empowering people and offering opportunity for individuals that otherwise would not exist due to poverty and lack of hearing services.

By the time somebody is fitted with a hearing aid in a developing country through EARS, a lot of people have been working in the background. Gifts of money, time, equipment and expertise have been donated and resources shared. In this edition of All Ears we would particularly like to express our thanks to our partners – those from other charities and agencies, those from hearing aid companies and clinics who provide equipment and hearing aids and other supplies, and the churches and individuals who faithfully support our work with funding and prayer.

I’d also like to thank Margaret Dewberry for her valuable service, who retired from the EARS Inc. Board at the AGM in May. I remain in my role as President and Peter Bartlett as Vice-President, Marg Anderson continues on as secretary, Sheryl Pither is still the treasurer, and Donna Carkeet and Judith Francis remains ‘ordinary’ members of the board. We warmly welcome audiologists Wesley Ong and Deanna Connor onto the board! We look forward to their fresh insights and the gifts and enthusiasm they will bring to this organisation. READ MORE

Many have jobs that they can’t get away from. Some hope or expect EARS Inc. to pay their expenses (we don’t have the funds). Some expect us […]

It amazes me that, despite a small number of volunteers and limited financial resources, thousands of lives have changed through the work of EARS Inc. Most of the people we have helped would not have had access to audiology and hearing aid services without us.We’re excited that our new partnership with Medical Ministry International means […]

Donna and I attended the Coalition for Global Hearing Health US conference in April. It was a great time of learning, networking and sharing ideas and solutions.
